-two hour teaching workshop (and requisite readings) on designing effective writing assignments with Roger Graves. Excellent stuff, as always.
-read the introduction to Chun and Keenan’s enormous New Media Old Media: A History and Theory Reader. The intro was disappointingly good–disappointing because the book is massive and filled with all sorts of good stuff and I don’t have time to do it justice just now. Also, for a text on media, the book is a shockingly bad medium–tiny print and margins so small that fingers cover type. Also a solid 400 pages.
-plugging through Alexander’s book still (it is good).
-agreed to edit the Inter-Disciplinary.Net print book from the conference at Mansfield College this summer.
