-notes from Kathleen Fitzpatrick’s article in Debates in DH; very short and covers some of Kirschenbaum’s ground. Interesting bit about the difference between doing DH and reflecting on what doing DH means/is from more traditional humanities perspective; thankfully, Fitzpatrick argues that this doesn’t need to be a disciplinary divide: theory and practice unite! (how anyone could argue the contrary is beyond me)

*Sadly, I had to take all of my books back to the library when I was booted from my office and about to leave for Europe (or Hawaii, or whatever). Happily, I took photos of (the spines of) all of them so will slowly be reordering them and populating my “new” office space.*
